2005
Alaska Harley-Davidson Tour
We had a great group this year the the Harley Tour. Kevin, Lisa, Bob, Kevin R. and his wife Mary joined us for the trip. They rode the best paved highways in Alaska, took a glacier cruise out of Valdez and visited the Palmer State Fair.
I was proud to send Nicole and John to conduct the trip. The group came back smiling and joking, saying they "ate their way across Alaska." From Kareoke to running out of gas, it was obvious they had a great time. We even had a barbeque at the shop with fresh silver salmon for the farewell dinner!

ride at the shop. The weather was good, and they had a chance to see Mt.
McKinley the first day! Generally, there is about a 20% chance of seeing
the summit
during the summer.

The second day was a long ride,
with terrible weather. After this day, the rain stopped for the most part,
and Alaska was
again at its best!
The group approaches a moose, barely visible across the road.
The group enjoys the first 20 miles of paved Denali Highway.
This is perhaps the best representation of the night of Kareoke at the Tangle River Inn on record......
