Alaska Peninsula

The Alaska Peninsula is one of the world's premier hunting and fishing areas. This remote, 500-mile long strip of land is a land of superlatives. It is home to the world's largest population of Brown Bears, the world's largest Moose, the largest Caribou, the largest concentration of migratory geese as well as the world's largest run of salmon.

Grizzly Skins of Alaska is not a high volume, high dollar luxury lodge. Instead you will be a guest at our family's 40 acre wilderness homestead within Becherof National Wildlife Refuge and adjoining Katmai National Park. The scenery is spectacular and the terrain varies from low rolling tundra to towering, snow covered volcanoes.

Accommodation, while not luxurious, is comfortable enough for year around use by our family. There are separate bunk houses for guests with hot showers. You will be accompanied by our professional assistant guides, and receive personal attention.

The hunting in this area is unbelievable. Many record-book animals are taken.
