Alaska Rider Tours Presents: 2008 Northern Expedition
Tour Prudhoe Bay, here we come! Cross the Arctic Circle! The Northern Expedition is for those who want to ride the most remote stretches of dirt highway on the continent. We will be focusing on our goal: Prudhoe Bay, and searching out adventurous side-trips on old mining roads along the tour route. The riding is 50% paved, 50% dirt. If you are interested is seeing the real Alaska this IS the tour! Are you up for a world-class motorcycle adventure? See wildlife, ride unmapped mining roads, and meet colorful "sourdough" locals. We will be staying in hotels, historic roadhouses, and industrial containers (that's all they have in Deadhorse!). Get your gear ready, we are headed North! This tour was featured in: Road Runner Motorcycle Travel Magazine and Backroads Magazine August 2006 Issue and DualSport News February 2006 Issue Space is limited to 10 riders, on a first come/first serve basis.

Warning: This is not a normal motorcycle ride. This is an adventure (please see definition of "adventure"). This ride is not for wimps. This tour requires elements of endurance and stamina. Riders must be able to ride in adverse weather conditions and adverse road conditions. These roads are some of the roughest and most remote in the world. Rider must be physically fit, mentally strong, and able to cope with adversity. The accommodations on this trip range from luxurious to spartan. Do not expect red carpet to be rolled out above the Arctic Circle! Be ready for a true Adventure!
This Tour will be conducted in two Stages. The itinerary is designed to accommodate both aggressive, and non-aggressive riders. You may sign up for Stage #1, Stage #2, or Both! Of the two,
Stage #2 is more technical and I highly
recommend that riders have considerable dirt riding experience, if they
want to ride "off the map" on the mining roads. This will enhance
your experience considerably! If you do not have motocross racing, dualsport racing or extensive off-road experience, I highly recommend the following off-road school: You may book this Camp directly, or through us! Alaska Rider
