Alaska Rider Tours Presents:
"Reels and Wheels"
Dual-sport riding and fly-fishing adventure!
August 8th - 13th 2005

Ride and Fish Alaska!

Ride the backroads of Alaska and fish for wild Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, and Arctic Grayling along the way!

Nicole Christensen, Alaska Rider Tours' dirt-biking and fly-fishing specialist, will be leading this trip. This ride features 6 days of exploratory fishing and dual-sport riding throughout South Central Alaska on 2004 Kawasaki KLR 650's.( Suzuki V-Strom 650 and BMW upgrades are available!)

This tour is designed for those who have two passions: fishing and motorcycle adventuring. If you have not been to Alaska, and want to make the most of it, then this IS the tour!! Stream crossings, stunning scenery, wildlife viewing, excellent fishing… this tour offers it all for those who want an unforgettable motorcycle adventure!

"Reels and Wheels" features the Denali Highway: the wildest, most scenic stretch of dirt highway in Alaska, if not the continent. Stop at any one of the streams or lakes along the way and cast a fly…..you will soon be rewarded! We will start the tour from our shop in Anchorage, and search out adventurous side-trips on old mining roads along the tour route. The riding is 65% paved, 35% dirt.

The mountain ranges we cross through during this tour are home to the tallest peaks in North America. The scenery is spectacular and the riding is fantastic. We will have a chance to cast a fly at Silver Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, and Arctic Char.

We have fashioned an itinerary which will satisfy both the "fisherman" and the "rider" in you. There will be plenty of options during the tour to keep you fishing, riding, or both. Everyone gets what they want!

We will be staying in hotels, historic roadhouses, and rustic cabins. Get your gear ready, we are going motorcycle fishing!

Space is limited to 10 riders, on a first come/first serve basis.
